✧ Maialis was born to a small world that was vaguely medieval
✧ She was poor for all of her early childhood, begging on the streets for scraps of food
✧ When her mother died, her father, grieving, gave her over to the mysterious Order of Initia Nova
✧ There she was indoctrinated into the beliefs that Darkness did not belong in the worlds
✧ At the age of fourteen, she decided to become a priestess
✧ All efforts from thenceforth were for the Order
✧ She trained herself in combat to fight for said Order's ideals
✧ Became a priestess at the age of seventeen
✧ Skyrocketed through the ranks because of her knowledge and skill with light magic
✧ At the age of twenty-three, she discovered one of her friends was researching Darkness and its magic
✧ Despite this being for the Order, it was forbidden and so she killed her friend
✧ This sent her higher in the ranks
✧ At the age of twenty-seven, she became the High Priestess of the Order
✧ She rests there now, at twenty-eight, preparing for a crusade against all Darkness
